Virtuose du crayon, France Bizot a commencé en 2017 une série de dessins sur des livres qu’elle collecte et qui ont été présentés la première fois lors de l’exposition Shift and Shuffle chez Backslash (2019). Pour sa cinquième exposition Natsukashii (2021), France Bizot pose ses crayons sur le célèbre conte contemporain : Le Petit Prince. D’autres livres mûrement choisi pour sa couverture et son titre viennent appuyer son propos et surtout exacerber son imagination, pour créer des images entre douceur, insolence, culot, amour et tendresse. Le catalogue est préfacé par Paul Audi, qui nous dit de l’artiste et des ses œuvres : “France Bizot dessine donc des suggestions qui suggèrent à leur tour d’autres suggestions. Elle les capte comme on attrape des papillons dans un filet, elle les épingle ensuite dans une boîte à merveille, elle va même jusqu’à les démultiplié en les plongeant dans le mercure de nos miroirs les plus intimes”.

Drawing on her prodigious talent with a pencil, in 2017 France Bizot also started a series of drawings on books she collects, on display for the very first time in the exhibition Shift and Shuffle at Backslash (2019). For her fifth exhibition Natsukashii (2021), France Bizot puts her pencils down on the famous contemporary tale : The Little Prince. Other books, carefully chosen for their covers and titles, support her message and, above all, stimulate her imagination to create images that are a mix of gentleness, insolence, cheek, love and tenderness. The catalogue is prefaced by Paul Audi, who says of the artist and her works: "France Bizot thus draws suggestions which in turn suggest other suggestions. She captures them like butterflies in a net, then pins them in a wonder box, and even multiplies them by plunging them into the mercury of our most intimate mirrors."
